The State Street Area Art Fair is a nationally recognized and award winning art fair that combines the talents of 325 artists with a host of merchant displays along the vibrant streets of Ann Arbor's campus area. It is one of four Ann Arbor fairs held concurrently each July.

Adjoining the main campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, the State Street area has brought a rich offering of goods and services, entertainment venues, and residential possibilities for the university community and others for 150 years.The State Street Area Association is a neighborhood organization: a confederation of businesses, residents, professionals, non-profit organizations, university and local church representatives, all engaged in the joint effort to maintain a dynamic, inviting and welcoming place at the epicenter of Ann Arbor's meeting of town and gown.
